Football season

Well the best of the year is finally here. The time that the weather starts to cool down to where you don't sweat out of you shirt, but a coat is not required. Friday night I attended the Bentonville game. It was great to see the action, the pads popping, and the fans cheering. There is just something about going to a football game. I look forward to going to many more games this year. Bentonville has a great team and should compete for the State Championship.

This is also a good time to play a little golf over the next month or so. Gotta go

Vacation

Misty and I just returned from vacation last week. We visited San Diego for a couple of days and then moved up the coast to Santa Barbara. I played Torrey Pines South course and it absolutely whipped me. The magnitude of the course is very hard to imagine until you play it. Par 4's are 450+. Rough was not that long, but it was very hard to get out of. I think I made 2 pars and broke 100, not by much though.



Misty and I then moved up to Santa Barbara to go to a wedding. One thing that really shocked me was the amount of homeless people that were out in the open. The city was great, had a lot of great things to do. Food was okay, but nothing that I couldn't get back home. All in all it was a great trip but I would rather go back to Cancun!!

1st post - general thoughts

Recently I have been really following the Huckabee campaign and I truly believe that he is the man for the job. I am really confused at people who say that he doesn't have the expierence or high profile for the job. Maybe, just maybe, that is what we need. Someone who is not out of the DC mold, who has fresh ideas, and is not afraid to call out truth. One other thought about Huckabee. If he ever debated Hillary he would come out looking like a hero. Remember that he knows her by the back of his hand. He would be a slam dunk. Go Huckabee
